The twelve songs on “East Village Opera Company’s” CD mixes opera with rock. Each song takes you on a musical journey. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have picked up the CD at the store based on the album cover, but after listening to it; I’ve changed my mind. This album has exposed me to a brand new sound and I can honestly say now that I’m a music connoisseur. If you enjoy good music and open to hearing new things, no matter what genre, “East Village Opera Company’s” CD will make a good addition to your collection.
