(Hollywood, CA) Wednesday, October 19, 2005 –Sharon Stone, Denise Rich, Mark Feist and Damon Sharpe held a press conference Monday to reveal their star-studded charitable collaboration titled, “Come Together Now.” They showcased the single and video filled with touching scenes of the relief and rescue efforts. Twenty-eight artists donated their time and talent to the song including; Celine Dion, Joss Stone, Jesse McCartney, The Game, John Legend, Nick Carter, Gavin DeGraw, Aaron Carter, Patti LaBelle, Wyclef Jean, Chingy, Anthony Hamilton, JoJo, Kimberley Locke, Brian McKnight, AJ McLean, Mya, Natalie Cole, Stacie Orrico, Kelly Price, Lee Ryan, Angie Stone, Garu, Glenn Lewis, Tren’l, R.L. Huggar, and Ruben Studdard.

Stone said after they received so many calls on the project, “I would like to thank the public for their heroic support of our efforts to help the victims of Katrina and Rita. It is truly heartwarming to see how our country can come together through a simple message like a song.”

All of the net proceeds from the single will benefit victims of the recent Hurricane Katrina disaster that devastated our nation. Proceeds will be split between two charities; Habitat for Humanity, which seeks to eliminate homelessness from the world, and Angels Place, which provides homes for terminally ill children and their families.

Grammy-nominated songwriter and philanthropist Denise Rich said, “ This is one of the most heartfelt projects I have ever written for and I was thrilled to be able to give what I do best , my songwriting, to this important cause. I am so grateful to all of my friends and artists who lent their time and talent to ensure the success of our song.”

This inspirational song blends R&B, Rap, Pop & A/C with a soulful melody that will be sung across the world. Artist Nick Carter described his contribution, "I was honored to have been asked to participate in such a worthwhile endeavor, and hope that we are able to raise substantial funds for the victims. I think it is really cool that so many artists contributed and I was intrigued when I heard Sharon Stone had co-written the song."

Veteran producers/songwriters, Feist and Sharpe said of working with Stone, "Her writing is deeply personal and spiritual. Sharon goes into a trance-like state and the first time we heard her music, we were stunned at how moving her lyrics were."

“Come Together Now” is available now for download on iTunes, and the video can be viewed on AOL and LG Mobile Phones website, Lifewithlg.com, which also has exclusive content and artist interviews. An Enhanced CD featuring the song and the video will be distributed by New York independent label “785" Records in November. The project was funded by Executive Producers Denise Rich, Sharon Stone and underwritten with the help of LG Mobile Phones. It was coordinated by co-Executive Producers, Kieron Kawall, Keisha Escoffery and David Munk.

Additionally, the song "Come Together Now" is the title track of an extraordinary industry-wide benefit record that will aid victims of the recent hurricanes along the Gulf Coast. The record, "Hurricane Relief Come Together Now", will be released in mid-November on Concord Records.
